This is the first tee for the brand connected with this site which I call TERRITORY. There is no cheesy manifesto for what the brand represents. It comes from ideas, memories, and inspirations that I see or that pop into my head that I turn into art for t-shirt graphics. There is nothing else to it than that. I would say there is a general theme of skateboarding and 90’s pop culture but not always. 

The idea for this first design came to me from a love for a toy my friend Jeremiah and I had while we were growing up in the 80’s. They were these little solid pink gum colored wrestling figures that stood about 1.5 inches high. They were called M.U.S.C.L.E. Men and they came in multi-packs because every single one was a different character. They were Sick!! M.U.S.C.L.E. stood for Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere. I somehow wanted to mesh skateboarding and these M.U.S.C.L.E Men- I don’t know why? I picked out the coolest M.U.S.C.L.E men (pictured above) and gave him a skateboard. 

As you can see we customized it a bit to represent TERRITORY by giving him “T“‘s instead of “M“‘s and we used the same Red dots in the type. We printed this design called “Skate Muscle” on tees and pullovers which are both available in limited amounts in the online shop!
