I visited my 2 friends Erik Fountain & Aaron Bjorky this weekend in LA. Forgive my camera it has a terrible user. Erik is a Cartoon Animator and Aaron makes TV commercials for the cheddar but loves making fine art.

This is what a Disney Animator’s at home cubicle looks like- lots of inspiration all around. Erik just finished up an animation you may have caught in the new Toy Machine video Brain Wash (available on iTunes) as well as a deck for Pharmacy Boardshop.

Besides Skateboarding you can see why we are friends by his nice collection of MUSCLE Men toys.

Lots of Comic Books.

This is just a taste of the memorabilia. Erik is starting his own skate endeavor soon and the financing is from the best place. He has been storing up change in a ceramic mexico style Laker’s Basketball Piggy Bank. The bank is full to capacity and I tried to convince him to throw it out his second story window but he is more interested in a Ewok/Endor double wooden log smash ending. Before I left he gifted me one of the animation drawings from Brain Wash, I immediately framed it when I got home. Look for Erik’s work in the new Disney Winnie the Pooh movie.

Bjorky was part of a Print exhibit at LACMA. He put down some really nice screen printed works which are available in limited amounts at his website. Look out for a possible Territory Shirt from Bjorky soon- I still need to talk him into it for some Owl Beer or something.
